MVA in Nof HaGalil tests and services transformers and high-voltage systems rather than cleaning industrial sites. Tests on site include transformer ratio, sweep frequency response analysis, insulation tests, on-load tap changer checks for MR types, thermographic scanning for hot spots, and tests for cabinets and switches. Its transformer oil laboratory holds international ISO/IEC 17025 accreditation and performs dissolved gas and furan analysis. Treatments cover oil filtering to remove moisture, periodic servicing, and factory repairs for transformers up to 20MVA, including core drying in a vacuum oven and replacement of coils. Service contracts with extended warranty are offered for new Ardan transformers. The team also gives lectures and training on oil analysis and transformer maintenance, and its customers include Tower Semiconductors, Kiryat HaPolad and Intel.
