Founded in 1987, Marpaz Industrial Services is an engineering, construction and maintenance company in Haifa, mainly active in the environmental, chemical and petrochemical industries. It provides technologies, services and plants for industrial cleaning and waste treatment. Its chemical cleaning work covers pickling, passivation, degreasing, scale removal and pre-operational boiler cleaning, applied to waste-heat boilers and process piping. It also does pre and post weld heat treatment and hazardous waste management. Beyond building plants and equipment, Marpaz offers operational and maintenance assistance, and its engineering subsidiary Miltech designs waste treatment plants, among them ammonia, organo-acidic and sulphuric acid waste treatment. Customers come from petrochemicals, semiconductors, pharmaceuticals and metal finishing, and a strict safety policy governs the work. Acid regeneration plants for metal finishing, and sludge treatment for the pharmaceutical and petrochemical industries, are among the technologies it has provided.
