Gur Technologies has cleaned thermal systems since 1979, when engineer Arie Gur started the company to develop materials and technology for treating and maintaining heat exchange surfaces and piping in air conditioning, cooling, ventilation and heating systems. Today it carries out chemical and mechanical cleaning of shell and tube heat exchangers, condensers, evaporators, cooling towers, air coolers in refineries, steam boilers before inspection and chillers, and it flushes and passivates new cooling systems before start-up. Its hydrodynamic equipment delivers up to 1,000 bar (14,500 psi) for cleaning pipes, and it drills tubes mechanically. Other services include cryogenic pipe freezing, Eddy Current wall thickness testing, water treatment for cooling towers and UVC water treatment without chemicals. Technicians serve customers across the country, and letters from Israel Aerospace Industries and the Rabin Medical Center, Belinson campus, recommend its work.
